From my project “Eclipse”:
Eclipses are natural events of the Cosmos, yet they interrupt the course of nature on Earth. Every once in a while the set course of things has to be shaken and turned upside down. It’s the part of the process. This is how the Universe unfolds.
People tend to add to a natural event of an eclipse stories, fascinated by the fact that every once in a while two opposite forces of nature come together and exchange energies. The small Moon, which is usually the receiver of energy has the power to cover the nightly Sun, which is always the source. The power of receiving gets to become stronger than the force of giving.
